I just got my 00 TA and while the low end is nice i want just a little more. I know in the 4.6's gears are a nice upgrade, but my buddy at work said in his 00 Z he went to 3.73 and didnt really notice much. now his is a manual and came with 3.42 and mine is auto so probly 2.73 . anyhow my question is:
Do gears in auto ls1's make a difference to copensate the expense?
any help would be good. also if 3.73 or 4.11's would be a better choice.

I think gears are a great mod. I cut .2 off my 1/4 time going from 3.23's to 3.73's.
