well i posted another bulletin and they told me to check my rpo codes on my door and it said gu5 which is 3.23's i know its the right rpo code cause the vin number they told me 3.73' would be best at work. But i want more opinions and how hard do you think it is to change them out.

Well I'm really not sure for gears as it's a V6. Do you just feel like you're not quick enough (I mean, it is a V6 ) but gears can be expensive. And if you've never done them before, I would NOT do a gears install, at least not alone. If not set up right, you can tear up your new gears real quick. And to install them can cost quite a bit. I think your cash could be spent on something better for your car, just my $0.02.

Almost inevitably it will whine like a little bitch after you change the ring and pinion. It requires a lot of skill and patience to install and set up a rear end properly. Almost no one has the time or skill to do it right.

It also takes a dial indicator (plus knowledge of how to use it) and a press.
