gear install, and c clip elimonators

Hey guys im doing a 4:10 gear install and want too know if you can use c clip elimonators on the street. Its not a daily driver but will get drove on the street on nice days and only see the strip 3-4 times a year with slicks. I just wanna make the weak 10 bolt as strong as possible, Im also gonna purchase a better rear end cover. Any help is appreciated.

The car is also getting a cam, roller rockers, basically a whole new top end, this winter.

cc306, cc503 not sure--- which is better with stock heads?

yes they make c-clip eliminators for the 7.5 10-bolt, i have installed them for other people before that had to use the stock rear end for some circle track classes

they would be fine on the street

Do they make any driveability difference on a daily driven car? I have seen them but never looked into em.

I would'nt worry about c-clip eliminator's. If you can I would do the gear's and cover and start saving for a 12 bolt or 9". I have seen the biggest problem on the 7.5 being the pinion gear shearing the gear's due to the carrier flexing which the girdle type cover will stiffen the whole thing. But c-clip eliminator's are more of a safety addition to hold the axle in place if it should break. I've seen good deal's on rear end's on E-BAY which is where I got mine from. Good luck.

The C Clip eliminators shouldn't make any difference, and you shouldnt see (feel) any different then you did before. I like the girdles and at $145 you cant go wrong on some cheap insurance. I think for mild cars they are great, and peace of mind while saving for a 12 bolt or 9" should you want a good bit of power.
