rear debackle

trying to decide between 12-bolt or 9". How much hp/tq can they hold? How hard is it to change the center cection in a 9". Which is an easier install? Both say they are bolt in (moser 12bolt or strange 9") and what is the better choice for a 550-600 rwhp street driven car that sees a few track passes each year and some sticky tires.

both can easily handle 600hp....

the 12bolt soaks up less hp which is always nice.

and seems like i remember that the 9" requires a new driveshaft...not positive.

i say go for the 12bolt...direct bolt in is a very nice thing

ya, i was leaning towards the 12-bolt myself. just want to make sure it can handle the power and some sticky tires; maybe i can finally get some slicks and get the front end up

My 12-bolt has held up to 800rwhp and 10.5" slicks at the track.

10.06 @ 141.15 with a 150 shot. I ran the car with up to a 250 on the dyno and at the track but at the track let off. I have a good relationship with the track owner that I don't want to screw up and my car is not legal under 10.00. It is not setup for dragging anyway.
