I know its been said and there is a billion searches for this but I need some help. I have a 383 with AFR 190 heads(worked) T56 tranny, 232/240cam with .572/.572 lift and a 200 shot...I can not decide on what gears to run. I want a quick car but I dont want to run out of breath up top with 4.10's.Any body with some help???

 

with the setup your running, esp with N20...i would run 3:73's. with 4:10's your car will be completely worthless in 1st and 2nd gear.

Are you still running stock 10 bolt? if so, go with the 3:73's

 

i would go with 3.73's cuz of the nitrous too, if it wasnt juiced, u can get by on 4.10 especially with the second overdrive gear
