"Gauge" fuse blows when I put M6 in Reverse
"Gauge" fuse blows when I put M6 in Reverse
Car in sig. Just finished M6 install from an A4. Replaced the engine harness with an M6 harness of the same year.
When I have the ignition on and put the car in reverse the 10 amp gauge fuse located on the left side of the dash blows every time.
I found an old post saying to replace the backup switch on the right side of the trans. Well, I replaced that switch today and my fuse still blows. Any suggestions??

I'll move this to "Drivetrain" since its not an "engine" question.
If the switch is OK, then it must be connecting a cricuit that has +12V on one side (supplied through the fuse) and a ground on the other = a short. Check your wiring.
