Flywheel hot spot?

Flywheel hot spot?
Does anyone have pics of a flywheel that has hot spots on it or could someone describe what they look like? I am going to be doing a M6 conversion and I assume that if the flywheel had hotspots I'd want to replace it, or can they be removed by resurfacing?
