Fluid leaking from the slave were it attaches to the Transmission...

i posted a few days ago about how my clutch pedal fell to the floor with very little pressure, well i crawled under the car today after pumping the clutch and putting new fluid in the resivoir, and i could see that fluid was leaking out were the hydraulic's attach to the transmission. The housing that attaches to the transmission looks solid, because i had to replace the whole master/slave assembly when i put in my Spec 2 last march. Why would fluid be leaking out of the housing though? does it mean that the slave is toast? and will that fluid get into the bell housing and ruin my clutch?
thanks for all the help, oh and Dal is the man, hooked me up with the whole Master/Slave assembly for $105

it sounds like the seal on the slave cylinder is leaking.
IMO i would look at the slave cylinder and replace it if its needed

yea i just got a whole new master/slave cylinder, i'll be putting it in this weekend. BUT if it is leaking, could that fluid get into the bell-housing and get on my clutch and ruin it?

if you have a consistant leak onto your disc and you dont fix it, it will cause the clutch to fail, but if you fix it fairly quick i wouldnt expect there to be any damage.
