I've Cracked 3 So Far. Who Makes A Thick Strong Plate? 2 Were Stock 1 Was A Tci.

I Have A Comp Cam .510 Lift, Hooker Longtubes, Slp Loud Mouth B&m 2400 Stall, 3.73 Gear, 1.6 Roller Rockers, And All The Bolt On Stuff. It's A Daily Driver.

You shouldn't be braking even a stock flexplate with that. Where/how exactly does it crack? Something is out of balance or not installed properly.

It Cracks All The Way Around The Bolt Holes Where It Bolt To The Crank.

Are the crank bolts torqued to specifications? I think they are 22 lb/ft or something.

Should not be breaking. Could be a sign of the tranny not correctly aligned with the crankshaft. The plate flexs as it rotates, fatigues, and starts to crack.

My B&M SFI flex plate holds 800HP with nitrous off the line. I've seen them handle well over 1,000HP.
