Flex plate/ transmission shield?

I am looking for a flex plate shield for my 94' Z with the 4L60E. Who makes one that will install EASY? I look at their pictures of the shields and I can not imagine how the hell you would get your hands in their to start the bolts! This should be easy seeing as how there is miles of space between the tranny and tunnel in these F body cars

Do any of the tranny shields also cover the flex plate? I found a CSR unit but it is pricey and it also involves removing all the tranny bolts, which I don't really want to do, but will if it is the only way to mount it. Any suggestions?

JW has an Ultra Bell for the 700R4. SFI-rated. Might work with the 4L60E. Worth asking them.

I run one on my TH400.

Thanks for the link. Price isn't all that bad either.
I like that set up. I'll give them a call.

Try any tranny shop, it is a common part for any GM automatic tranny. The cost about $25 for a plastic or metal one.

I am not talking about the inspection cover. For cars running 10.99 and quicker a flex plate shield is required so in the event that the flex plate comes apart, there is extra protection.
