Hey guys, I noticed last week that when I'm cruising around 1600 RPM's and I get on the gas lightly, my car shudders for a second, then accelerates. It only happens in OD at that RPM. Talked to a few mechanic friends and explained the symptoms, their diagnosis was that the lock up on the converter is on its way out. Can this individual piece be replaced? How much work is involved, and how much do the parts tend to cost?
