DShaft End Caps :(

Was pulling the tape to hold the end caps on and one of them stuck to the tape and all the freaking needle bearings came tumbling out
What is best way to fix this? Do they sell end caps by theirselves at autopart stores??
Has anyone else done this or am I the only one

Thanks

Cody

Re: DShaft End Caps :(

Clean up the needle bearings, apply some thick grease, stuff them back in the cap and stick the cap back on the trunion.

Re: DShaft End Caps :(

and if you dont have the patience, i went and bought an extra U joint at the auto part store and i just use it's endcaps to replace the one's that fall off (this is after i lost one of the $#!@!%$! needle bearings lol)

but aged masking tape is good for taping the endcaps on because it isnt as sticky and doesnt hold the endcaps as easily, yet after you wrap it around a couple times, it holds to itself, and works fine
