Dropped my tranny - am I screwed?

I was changing my clutch today. I took the trans out fine, lowered it on the jack, but then while rolling it away, it tipped over and fell off the jack. Its was only 3-4" off the ground, but it fell on the cement floor? Could I have damaged anything inside, cause outside it looks just fine.

Thanks
Max

Can't hurt anything on the inside, but definitely check the outside over for cracks.

Re: Dropped my tranny - am I screwed?

I checked the outside and found a crack. It's on one of the fins protruding from the tranny and it's only about 1/8" long. Do you guys think it will spread? Is there anything I can do to stop it?

Stop-drill the end of it.

Any size drill bit will work.
