Sorry, I think I'm thinking about the panhard rod, where it bolts to the diff housing on the driver's side?? And I guess both spring perches are behind the centerline of the axles, right? (sorry ... ~1am, brain sleepy ... photographic memory blurry! )

... I know there's gotta be something behind the centerline of the axles to jack up on to put weight on and it should "roll" or "tip" the diff back forward?

well i hope i didn't tear anything up then..i mean its not like i was cruisin like that..i was only driving it like 10mph or so not very fast cause the yard was muddy..but i'll check it out today when i mess with it again. thanks

Probably was the driveshaft scrapping against the body.
