Doesn't Seems to Engage, All Gears - Auto

Was taking off from a light tonight went the rpms jumped up and hit the rev limiter. When I let off, the trans seems to be slipping pretty bad. I pulled over and it will engage park, but when selecting all other gears, you can't feel the going into gears. In both reverse and drive, if I rev it up to 3000+ rpms it will start to move, but not very fast or with too much power. Any ideas what the problem is?

Only trans mods were a 3000 TCI stall and B & M cooler.

Very possibly the converter. TCI isn't known for their reliability or performance.
