Does anyone here use a billet power servo?
Does anyone here use a billet power servo?
Does anyone use a billet power servo for the 4L60E? I was looking through the B&M catalog and I see that a heavy duty servo is available. Is it worth getting?
Re: Does anyone here use a billet power servo?
I use a Fairbanks billet 2nd servo, and Sonnax 4th servo in EVERY racing '60E I build.
To safely use a billet servo, you should have a 2-4 band with a reinforced anchor. The billet servo will rip the stock anchor out of most bands. I always use an Alto "Wide" red lined band, because it has a reinforced anchor.

I have the same parts in my 60E that I built for my Camaro. Works great!
