Do i resurface my flywheel?

Ok im getting my sixspeedsinc. tranny in next week and was wondering if i have to resurface my flywheel since i took it off? It only has about 500 miles on the aluminum Fidanza flywheel and i took off the clutch & flywheel to check the condition of them (found out shaft broke on my tranny which was why it wasnt going into gear)

So with that said. Do i need to resurface it, or would it be fine? thanks in advance

If it were a steel flywheel with only 500 miles I would say no need to resurface. Being aluminum deserves a little more consideration. Put a straight edge on it and post some pics.

This is the best picture i can get (sorry its hard to get under the car with a foot clearence). But yeah like i said the clutch and flywheel all seem to be ok. My tranny is what busted. I just dont want to put the new tranny in and the clutch not grabbing or be slipping.

If it passes the straight edge test I would say run it.

Pulling the tranny becomes a cakewalk after the 3rd time, I know this all too well.
