I know, I tried doing a search but could not really find anything. Well I busted off about 2 to 3 nice chunks out of my pinion gear today. Car is a 96 Z28 M6 with 77,00 on her. I really Just want to put some 4.10s and a bearing kit in it and call it a day. But don' know if ill bust this set of gears too. All I really have done to the car is LTs,intake,tune and maybe some other boltons down the road. Will probly never get to deep into the motor but you neverknow. Plus It will probly never see the track. So do I need the 12 bolt or no thanks for the help steve

 

well if you broke the teeth off your stock gears,you are more than likely going to break a set of 4:10's

if you got the money to dish out for a 12bolt, Go for it! If not get some new gears and take it easy
