Differential Gear Problems??

Differential Gear Problems??

Hey everyone,

I am having some mechanical noise coming from the back of my car, it sounds as if it was coming from the rear wheels. Every time I'm coming to a stop I hear the noise, it' sounds as if it were a loose caliper, sounds like metal hitting metal. I have checked breaks and caliper, all is good. I can also hear the noise when I start moving, but as I gain speed and do my normal driving it's gone.

Any ideas where this noise is coming from? Could it be from the differential ??

Check all the rear end mounting/pivoting points.
