difference in 10 bolts

have a 94 with a abs 3 channel with a 373, it came with the car, i bought a 4-channel 10 bolt with a 373 for a spare but sold it to someone who needed it, i now bought a 273 10 bolt, it doesnt have a reluctor ring on the pinion,or any rings on the axles, but it has a pad for the abs sensor and a threaded hole for mounting it, i want to pull out the current 373 and install the 273,if i install a reluctor on the ring gear, what do i do about the abs senor, is there suposed to be a hole that it goes into to be closer to the reluctor?i dont what to swap gears as in the spring the 373 will go back in complete, i will also have a computer dedicated for each rear

The ABS sensor pushes into a hole in the diff housing, so that the end of the sensor is close to reluctor wheel teeth.

I don't remember what the stock setup looks like.... I sold mine in 1998. Looking at my Strange 12-bolt isn't going to help you.

Drilling the hole for the ABS sensor is doable if your very careful of course. its not recomended, but you can do it. just make sure you get the right drill bit and take out the gears so you dont damage them. if possible, it would be best just to replace the original gears in the axle with the 273's, but if thats not an option for u, then drilling is what u need to do. just make sure when all is said and done, thats the housing is clean and the ABS sensor has its oring around it.
