Denny's Driveshaft + Built t56 trans, driveshaft play question

So I had my shop put in my new street twin, flywheel, built t56 trans w/ viper output shaft conversion, denny's nitrous ready driveshaft and moser 12 bolt.....the driveshaft fits fine but my shop said the DS play is a little tighter then he would like....My question is:

1) I drive it on the street every other weekend or so, I dont really hear/feel anything bad, on the street what could having less clearence damage?

2) If I go to the track and launch her what will break if anything?

3) What is the best way to acheive more clearence without effecting the balance of the driveshaft.

For argument sake lets say the play is 1/4" or less.

If you have adjustable LCAs you can move the axle back a 1/4'' or so for some extra clearance.

When you measured for the DS was it after everything was done?

Could anything have changed lengthwise?

How much "play" is in the slip yoke?

I think they say you want ~1" of inward travel when the car is not weight-on-wheels.

I did a Denny HD aluminum shaft. App... 383 D1-Spec3-T56 --> Moser 12 with 1350 U-joints. I measured the shaft length @ suspension ride heigth. About 1/4" clearance into the T56 trans output spline seal. I have not had any problems, and, it runs with no vibration. This is my second shaft due to install of the Moser 12 from the stock 7 1/2". I also have adjusted the pinion angle to 1* negative for street use (Random TA). B
