Daily driver: lockup or nonlock up?

When I put my tq in my tranny I told the sales person I wanted which ever was suitable for highway miles and whichever was the best reliably speeking for daily driven. I can't remember which but I am getting my tranny built and need to know which one it is. So which is the one best suited for highway and lots of miles: lock up or non lock up? thanks in advance

You definitely want a lockup converter if at all possible. The only people who can't use them are those putting crazy power through the tranny (like me). The problem is that to date, no one makes a lockup converter that will stand up to extremely high hp. But unless you are in the 600+hp range, get a lockup converter.
