Re: CPT Trans owners inside please.

yeah, no spray for me. I would go broke filling that damn bottle up, so I went the biggest motor I could street drive and be happy. I dont like putting gas in it, let alone nos. hehe. But hey that is just me. I will prolly be getting a tranny from frank, how about you? I told him mine is a daily driver that sees lots of racing and I hate to loose. I will also go to the track for fun to get some numbers, but most of my fun is taking corners way too fast, and dragging from stoplight to stoplight. I love to see who gets to 60mph faster, cuz afterall, that is all the faster you can legally go on the street. I dont drive dumb though, or put anyone in danger. Just fun spirited driving, but that is the hardest on a tranny, all the heat buildup.

Full bolt-ons, XE 224/230, 100-150 shot, 12-bolt w/3.73s and 28" MTs, CPT Race 4L60E and a 3400 Vigilante. No hiccups whatsoever, and I have over 10k miles on it / had it in for about 11 months now.

reason ls1 guys 60 so good is the damn 4000 4800 stalls they put in there...and with bolt ons they can make 340hp or more....lt1 might make 315, and we normally go smaller than 3500...
look at cpt site they have 7 cars on there 112 or more

BTW whoever updated my times...thanks...it sucked 95 degrees out there...cant wait till it cools off..11's cam only...10's on spray???

^^ I agree with Daniel, beyond that, stating you don't care about 60' times as reference to how the tranny holds up is like saying why watch oil pressure when checking up on your new motor. Must tranny breaks occur in the 60'. Yes, when things are not setup right the 3/4 clutches go out but HP will not effect that, just bad build/materials. So measuring the 60' and seeing a lot of trannies 60' well (better then stock) and also hold together is a why most people talk 60' in regards to tranny holding up well. Even if you had 1000 HP and take it easy off the line then the stock tranny might hold up well, but a good hit to the tranny from a lot of torque shock is what will kill it, this is why the stocker dies under 300 RWHP cars that 60' well..
