Converter replace with XMSN!

My tranny went out and I had just installed a 3000 TCI converter. Some of the local shops say I have to chunk it and one says the filter should have protected it and he could flush it out. The damage was from overheating so there shouldnt be any metal in the fluid. TCI wants 200 to flush it. I dont know what the He!! to do. Thanks

Flush it and hope for the best.
Whatever you do don,t reinstall it without doing something or you run the risk of trashing the new tranny.

It should be rebuilt before putting it in a fresh tranny. Too big a gamble, sorry.
