converter and gearing ??

Hay guys I just put a xe230/236 and P&P heads in my 96 TA and I was needing some advise as to what Stall speed and STR I should go with. The car is going to be a weekend car and see a few 1/8 mile runs every month.

I was thinking that a 3500 with a STR of 2.7 and 3:73 gears would be good for this set up. What do yall think?

Any advise yall could give me would be appreciated.

Thanks

Rustin

That sounds reasonable to me.

You need to remember that with the N2O activated, the stall will be substantially higher. Assuming that when you race on a track you will be using the N2O I think I'd try the lower stall first. On the street, the higher stall with 3.73's = wheel spin anyway.

Rich,

I was thinking the same thing but wanted the input of some one that knows more than me and has experienced this situation.

Thanks
