Converter fluid

I'm going to be installing my stall soon and they say put fluid in it when you install it, but what type of fluid? I bought a fuddle new and it's capped. Is it capped to keep the fluid that's already in there in, or is it to keep contaminates out? I'm guessing the latter. So what fluid?

You're supposed to put in some tranny fluid when you install it, you never want to install it dry.

Hard to get a full quart into a 9" stall without making a mess when you mount it on to the trans itself.

Just get in as much as you can possibly fit.. I'd say 3/4 quart minimum..
