What gears, tires, bolt on's etc do you have? It helps if you put them in your signature so you dont have to type them out every time.

stock 93 gears and crappy tires. they were actually my next thing to do though. full bolt ons.

oh yea, will the 4000 stall be useable in a 93 car? i think i read somewhere that the computer doesnt like stalls that high or something like that.

AFAIK 93s don't have the ''stall wall'' problem. It's usually only the 94-95 that have that.

I think they run in the 300's new.

You sure you don't have that backwards? A Vig. is underated compared to most other converters. I'm not trying to argue but I've owned both, besides reading the same thing on the boards.

The CNC brand is BAD though, I made the mistake of buying rockers from them and they did not even care when I told them the ratio was wrong. Not miss boxed or anything, measured ratio did not match that marked on the rockers .

On the converter I like Edge but would not hesitate to use Yank or Vigilante.
I had a similiar bad experience with CNC Motorsports. I ordered a balanced 383 rotating assembly from them for my LT1. I told them what I was building. They sent me an externally balanced assembly. After I installed the engine, it shook like hell. LT1's are internally/neutral balanced. They sent me the wrong parts. They told me that since I already installed the crank that it was all on me. Their customer service sucks. I will always tell people to avoid them!!!!

I guess I'm confused with what your trying to say. If you mean by stall RPM, yea, my 3000 flashed at 3400 and my 3200 flashed at 3600, but both were much tighter than other converters that flashed in the same RPM range. I'm mostly just saying dont buy a crap one from CNC.
