Unhappy Code 81 What Now Damn 4l60e Help Please.

well jumped in the car today after work and the car decided to go limp mode with me turned on the car put it in reverse and the car drives and responds perfect in Reverse but when you put it in OD position the car starts off in what seems to be 3rd gear which i know as LimpMode it will shift no gear at least till 40mph as i didnt want to take it any further past that then i tried shifting it manually from 1st gear and i get no 2nd it then shifts what feels like 3rd cause its still to low of mph and shifts no OD at least i didnt take it up there.

i got the scanmaster in the car and it throws a Code 81 2-3 shift solenoid does this mean i need to replace it can this just be the fix as tranny was shifting and driving fine before all this. if its just a basic solenoid swap which one is it in what position? as i cant have this car down as its the only one in my family currently running as repairs are being done to the rest.Frank(CPT) if you could que in here it would be great or anyone else for that matter i just need to hear something positive as i need to get this car running.

another thing i noticed was that when i put it into gear from park in R or OD ot shifts a little firmer into gear now i dont know if it has anything to do with the tranny issue.

please help.

Probably just a simple solenoid swap. You might want to change both while you're there. They're cheap enough. The swap is pretty straight forward. My biggest piece if advice is, hold pressure in the "A" solenoid (drivers side) when you pull the clip out. It has spring pressure on it. The "B" solenoid doesn't.
Yes, the high line pressure is will be related to it.

the car has a 12" 2600 rpm stall

now frank the solenoids where can i pick them up at, i would have to goto a tranmission parts place only or can i goto the parts store also what solenoids am i asking for when i do get them.

the solenoid that you say holds pressure do i just like hold it in pull out the clip and then pull out the solenoid slowly is there going to be any ***** or springs behind it that will fall out or something? So theres only 2 solenoids i should touch in the valve body?

does the valve body have to come down in order to get to those solenoids? and you say one solenoid is on the driver side where is the other one as i dont want to pull out the wrong one.
