Question clutch and shift

Just put in a new centerforce clutch to replace the poor stocker which was fading at 90k miles. Love the new clutch. But, when I sit in neutral for a long red light say, it is kinda hard to get into first and the clutch doesn't seem as "grabby." Not right after I come to a stop (then it is easy), only if I have been idling. Any ideas?
