Clutch Questions?

Well my clutch is slipping when I try to launch my car at the track, so I guess a new clutch is needed somewhere in the near future. Any opinions on clutches?

Once I mod my car I will have at least 400+rwhp and up to around 600rwhp on the bottle (should I choose to build a forged stroker). So, what kind of clutch should I get? If only only do heads and cam a Spec Stage II will be fine, but should I go with the stroker I'd need a Stage III or IV. I noticed that the Spec III and IV both hold the same amount of torque though... Either way, what do you all think of Spec clutches?

What about a Centerforce clutch? How much HP and Torque can they hold? I've got a freind with one in his car and he's put almost 500hp with nitrous through it, but only once or twice.

Any other ideas?

This would have probably been better placed in the drivetrain forum

You're on "LT1 Engine Tech". Wrong forum...... moving to "Drivetrain"
