clutch problems

hey i jst put a new clutch in my camaro its a t56 tranny. and ever since i put it in im having trouble dropping the clutch. seems as wen i do it the car rolls bout a foot the the tires break but then u smell the burning clutch. im totally stumped. b4 i had it changed i had no problems. is there and adjustment i have to make? please help. thanks
