clutch problems

clutch problems

i have a v6 1997 camaro and the other day i was tryin to bleed the clutch and the fluid got low and i got air in the system now when i filled it up n tried to bleed it it seems if the clutch does not want to build up pressure can anyone help. thanks

you might try using gravity to bleed it. remove the cap from the master cylinder, then open the bleeder. just let it drain for a while, but make sure the reservior stays fulls.

or, you can keep trying to bleed it, but dont let the fluid get low in the res.

I got it to finally bleed i bought the one man bleeder from autozone n i had to make a rig so that the little hose that goes over the bleeder to clamp it down to a adapter then hooked it up to a hose from a power steering pump then clamped it down onthe bleeder valve and i pumped the clutch like 20 times and it worked. thanks for the help though
