clutch noise.

Well yesterday my 97 Z-28 started to shift very hard. Today i noticed a sound whenever i let out the clutch, its kind of a rubbing moan coming from the transmission. Does this sound like maybe like it might be the throwout bearing? If so how hard is this to replace? Does anyone know of a link of step by step instructions to replacing one of these?

One last question, if i replace this i might as well replace the clutch, i am wonder if it is a 26 spline?

Thanks

the throwout bearing will only make noise when your foot is pressing the clutch pedal

if the pilot bearing is bad it will make noise when the car is in gear but not moving

it doesnt sound like the throw out bearing
