Question Clutch help.. Spec or OEM??

Alright I bought my car and the transmission is currently out and everything but it came with a Spec 3 clutch. I have heard alot of stuff about Spec and what not. My uncle said the Spec 3 was like a switch and the guy I bought the car from said that he didn't like the clutch either. It wasn't very street friendly. So with all that said what should I do. I got this Spec 3 that I know if I put in the car I'm prolly not going to end up liking. So should I get me a stock OEM clutch for LT1 or LT4 so I can have good streetablitly? Or are they pretty much the same clutch? This car is going to be my daily driver and I'm not going to be driving it through traffic cause that would suck anyways. Im thinking about getting a LT4 clutch. Has anybody had any problems or issues with those? I need some good info here. Im new to the Fbod business but so far I'm liking it.
O yea If I decide to get a LT4 clutch how much should I be able to get out of a Spec 3?
