Clutch fork WILL NOT engage

No matter what I do, it will not go in. I move it every which way and it won't go in. This is all I have to do to get the car to run. How are you supposed to do it?

Do I have to pull the tranny back off, engage the fork, then slide the tranny back on?

I think when I did my swap I had it on the T/O bearing before I put the transmission in. But I don't think there's any reason you couldn't slide it on with the tranny on. Have you tried loosening the bolt that holds it in for some more room?

MISSION: Accomplished

I unbolted the crossmember from the frame and backed the tranny out about 1". I was able to leave the driveshaft and torque arm connected. That gave me enough room the see the throwout bearing and slide the fork on over it and engage it and slide the tranny right back on. Took about 10 minutes.
