clunk when i gun her'

Ok here is my original problem. i dunno if this is normal or not since i just got my car but in the lower gears say im just idlin and crusing at liike 1500-2200 rpm around there, and i gun it, i get like a clunk(not shifting gears) and it grabs like my rear end gears take a split second to really grab or something, upon being told it was probally Tranny mount, i replaced this and it still didnt help, so now im thinkin motor mounts, or torque arm mounts? or wut you think it is???

I would have started with the tranny mount as well...usually you feel that on the side of your leg when that gives...Check your TQ arm bushing and see if its good or not...if not...check engine mounts...if those are good...start checking out the suspension in the rear. Hope it helps...Those are just some small, obvious, places to start looking

My panhard bar bolt had jumped a few threads, and when I jumped on her, there would be a real loud clunk. Took me the better of 6 months to find it, but once I changed that bolt, the clunk was gone.

Panhard bar run from the left side of the car to the right. I believe it connects to the body on the left side, and to the axle on the right. The U-joints are at either end of the driveshaft.. The torque arm runs from the back of the transmission to the rear differantial, the bushing is on the transmission.
