Clink in the rear (A4)

Clink in the rear (A4)

When I shift into gear or reverse, there is a brief "clink" and then the car is fine. Sometimes it will make the clink when I take off from a stop too. I am thinking it might be the universal joint. Any thoughts?

check your trans mount and torque arm mounts as well.

but it is verylikely the ujoints.
