Clicking in rear end.
Clicking in rear end.
Hi all, im new to this board so im sorry if this is a redundant question. I recently bought(about 6 weeks ago) a 96 z28 w/ a 4l60e, stock 10 bolt, lt4 hot cam and your basic intake/exhaust upgrades. The guy said it's sitting at 330 rwhp which sounds about right. But lately ive been experiencing a clicking or mild grinding when i get after the throttle. If im going over 40 mph, i can go WoT w/o any problems, but from a stop, any hard launch will bring on the grinding. I have drag nitto's on the car so i know those tires will put more stress on the rear end and tranny; and although i don't abuse it, i've definately been enjoying the honeymoon stage of this purchase.
Does anybody have some suggestions? I'm a 22 year old college student with not alot of extra cash so i hope this isn't anything too expensive. But i love my car and i know this is serious enough to where it can't be ignored.
