car stroke btw 1st and 2nd

99 Z28 A4
no matter how fast i drive on 1st gear, when it shifts to 2nd, i feel a pretty hard kick in the rear.
any ideas ?

Mine does too...only if it shifts to second w/o being on the gas.

it started yesterday morning, can't imagine its healthy
