Stage 5 spec

Well I have had a stage 3 ceramic and the x pad disk the only problem is that my car wieghts 3710 race weight and I drop the clutch spraying off the line at 6000 rpm. I hate after 6 months of tack use the disk is worn out. Has anyone drove on the stage 5 for more than a day? I use this as a week end car. I make 615 Rwtq and just wanting to know if anyine is using this stage 5.

I was wondering this too. I sprayed mine on the dyno and it (stage III) lost it at 758ft-lbs right over 3200rpms (sprayed at 3000). clutch is still grabbing, but I know not to spray that big on it again...LOL.

Not everybody has the $$ for a street twin. not everybody has the power to necessitate one, either. If I were to get a street twin, I would have to get another flywheel sine I have a 2 piece crank seal, I am sure that would cost me even more.

through other cars I have had The company that makes them has not been freindly to me at all. As far as the twin disk They use the same disks for several set ups. I have a friend who went 1.65 60' in a 98 T/A 3600 pounds and broke the disk where it mounts to the hub and have seen this on other twins they make on friends cars. If they made the piece between the disk and the hud was thicker I would.

I like the spec clutches. I know with the wieght of the car and the torque that I am asking the limits of stage three. It holds fine but grabbing the power is a little hard from stage 3. I am just wanting to know how peeps with a stage 5 are liking theres? I know it will be a pain to go from light to light but I am not worried about that.

I know a local guy that owns ls1motorsports.com and he just put in a Spec Stage 5 in his 774 rwhp turbo Firebird and says its very streetable and even pick up some rwhp over the Stage 3-I which is rated at the same HP level.
