Can't get M6 into reverse....

I was on my way to the store today and my car "missed" for a second, like hiccup. Now it feels like it's missing, idling rough, and I can't get the trans into reverse. I was blowing ignition fuses as some wires were hitting the passenger side header. Could another wire have hit the header on that side? Any other ideas, maybe the reverse lockout solenoid. That wouldn't have caused a miss at exactly the same time though right? Thanks...

Is there any chance on the clutch almost being toast?

I noticed when mine when out that reverse gave me issues.

(I know that this most likely is not your problem but throwing it out there)

Check your fuses. One of them controls the solenoid. Maybe it's out.

That same fuse controls the fans, the O2s and the EVAP. If it blew you should notice it.

wires

Its the wires running by the firewall on passenger side it has 8 or nine diffrent collors mine did the same thing u, have to rewire away from headers. I have same long tubes as you get under car and you will see the whole harnest touching, the wires are toast. Or if you still cant get it call me 972-824-0793 angelo Ill get into detail.

That's why I love this board! The fuse blew that controls the reverse lockout and the O2's. That's why the car was running rough (and rich), because the wires arched again the passenger side header. Thanks again gentleman!
