ok finishing up my 383 stroker and went on jegs to get a tranny but which one to i get it says lik th400 and all that stuff wat do i look for.and which one you think i should get,its a 94 camaro with a 383 stroker motor looking for a beast tranny but i can drive around with it and get on it n it not breaking..hows the tci super street fighter?

I have had a TCI Streetfighter C4 ford tranny holding 400hp for 5 years no problem, but several of my freinds had their th350's from TCI blown up withen hours of use. They are over-priced and not near the quality of the CPT. I love mine, best auto tranny I have driven.

 

yes but dont i have to send them my tranny n let them rebuild it with all those parts? i just wanna buy a whole new one.. let me kno if thiers any good websites if you could thanks

 

Where are you located? We can build you a nice 4L60E that'll take any abuse you might want to throw at it. TCI doesn't have a very good reutation for their O/D transmissions. To put a 400 in, you'll lose overdrive, and you've got to change a bunch of other stuff (I.E. torque arm, driveshaft, etc.)
