I think I paid about $960 for the moser housing which included the torque arm bracket, axles and bearings. If I remember right the rear end housing was like $550 which to me is a good price as everything is already done correctly for you. When I first started my 9 inch project I as going to convert the whole 9 inch housing from the old vehicle for my Trans Am. I have two CNC milling machines, lathe and wire welder but after I found moser had the housing for $550 I did 't even think about doing it myself. I don't remember the exact amount I spent but it was around $1600-$1700 total. That was with a spool though, I now have a detroit tru-trac and is more moeny. There are many good websites out there that walk you through buying a good 9 inch center section, what too look for and not to get. On mine I changed the yoke to a GM style, don't remember the part number though.
