Broken Tranny Mount

I have 94 Z28, I posted I thread about a month ago about my tranny shifting hard at off the line. Since then I have found the problem it' s the tranny mount. Now that I know what the problems is I can correct it. Should I use the stock tranny mount or the energy suspension tranny mount?

That's what everyone has told me to get. I just wanted to get a few more opinions. How much stronger are the poly mounts?

put it this way, if you break a poly mount, you have other seriuos issues you need to address

I have broken eight stock tanny mounts but it has a lifetime warranty so no cost to me. But I put a set of ET on teh other day and one the 3rd launch broke one, will the poly hold up to this? The only reason I havent got one yet is cause one of my friends has a TA and he said he broke the poly one fast the the rubber one.

The poly will be stronger versus the stock rubber mount. However, the only drawback will be the likelihood of extra vibrations.

I used the solid poly mount and it solved all my problems, I can't see you breaking one of these mounts, I am over 600hp and 3800lbs with no problems.

You can usually pick up at your local auto store... Autozone, Pep Boys, etc. The mount hasn't changed in 50 years and is pretty common.

Tried it, with a A4 found it transfered too much drivetrain noise... leaving me to break stock ones, about 4 so far
