Blew my driveshaft
Blew my driveshaft
I went to the track at the end of last summer and blew my driveshaft off the line. A month before I was running 13.1s all day with a lot of wheel spin. I ordered a set of drag radials (Hoping I would break 12s) on my third pass I snapped the driveshaft in half.
I replaced the driveshaft with Lingenfelter's 3.5" aluminum... I was having problems. Driving regular, when I brake (40-0) I hear a clank sound. Also when I turn at slow speeds (in between 5 and 10mph).
Someone told it might be my seals that connect the driveshaft to the transmission and the rear yoke. He just glanced at it.
I took it to a transmissions shop in my area but they dont what to do and plus they dont do rear end seals. Planning on taking it to Speed Inc (closeout shop that I know that are LS1 experts)
What do u think, any advice.
Please Help Thanks
