Question Bleeding clutch hydraulics. . . NOT YOUR NORMAL Q's

Yes I know to do a search, but this is a lil different and its aggravating the crap outta me. . . I have a street twin with the adj. master and I bleed the clutch pumping the slave holding it upright (the piston pointed down) and pump until no more fluid is absorbed or bubbles come out. . . I have the restrictor drilled out and the master adjusted all the way out. . . And it STILL lets out ALL the way at the top. The clutch feels spongy as did the slave when I was pumping it and its not letting me go through the gears very easily. Is there any other steps that I'm forgetting?

To add to this. I got sick of the line running from my resevoir to the master leaking all the time. So I got rid of the crappy gm rubber hose and replaced with some fittings and a stainless steel line. Due to the fittings it doesn't route the same way so I hafta go left of the brake booster and around the back of it going to the right mounting where the resevoir mounts. I WOULDN'T think this would have any adverse effects, but figure I'd throw it in there anyhow.

But any help with this would be greatly appreciated. This is the only thing keeping my car from being completed after a LOOOOONG down time.
