big stall guys please chime in..

Okay put in my new tranny and a fuddle 3800 lockup stall.
have a couple of questions. prob. stupid ones, but here we go...

do the big ones seem really sluggish when cruising, like slipping alot?
when I do punch it, when cruising it seems to rev. to close to 4,000 then grab..prob normal, just checking.

and when getting on it, when it shifts, it dosen't drop below 3,000 rpm's between shifts. normal right? I know that should help me stay in my powerband.

I can't seem to feel it lock up...It should feel like almost another gear right? like a couple of hundred rpm drop.

car dosen't have the seat of the pants feel anymore, use to almost kick the car sideways when shifting into second and spin 1/2 way thru second. and now it seems to not spin as much. or pull as hard... just curious.. thanks for any advice, I know I'll get use to it, only put 50 miles on it so far, and there calling for snow here in KC tomorrow...

Everyone reacts differently, but that's exactly how a high stall on a street car feels to me. If you read any of my prior posts about it, I could say "I told you so", but that would be mean It will be less apparent, but you still should be able to notice when it locks up.
