The best trans cooler?

Im wondering what is the best transmission cooler for a factory '94 Z28 with just a CAI, and cat back. I have the 4L60E transmission, and 2.73 gear ratio. I plan to keep the car as is performance wise. I want this car to last so the transmission is getting a cooler. Problem is i dont know what one to get. Now im wondering, with the transmission do you want to keep it as cool as possible? Or is it like an engine where you dont want it to get TOO cold? There are many trans coolers out there. The one ive seen the most is the B&M Supercooler and that comes in many different sizes. Thanks

For what it's worth I have a cheap 20 dollar cooler that's .5" x 12" x 8" and it does the job just fine.

Stacked plate vs finned tubes is the biggest difference. B&M makes a very good stacked plate cooler for a small price. That is why they have a following that doesn't seem to have any complaints. I monitored my temps before and after the install. I was happy....

So this is a question that shows I'm still learning.

Benefits of running a trans cooler? I am assuming it's only useful if your engine is of a HP near the top end of what the transmission was designed for, or if the transmission is under constant load say from towing etc..

Has anyone ever used a cooler in a stock 904tf with benefit? or would it do more bad than good?

Thanks
