Balanced crank, flywheel, clutch and PP?

If a crank is neutral balanced, then the flywheel is also neutral balanced, can I use the existing LT1/LT4 clutch and pp? Or are those components balanced/weighted for a typical LT1 crank and flywheel?

If I can bolt the PP and clutch back on, do I still have to worry about alignment - matching marks on FW and PP ?

Thanks for the help.

Nate.

Thumbs up Re: Balanced crank, flywheel, clutch and PP?

Hey there, I have a 95 LT1 and I upgraded to the SLP Lightweight Flywheel, LT4 Lightweight PP and Clutch disc, I don't think you have to worry about balancing anything (atleast from SLP)

My kit came with install instructions, and was pretty straight forward.. if you go the SLP route you will be fine, just follow there directions (if you can call them that)

I think most other clutches are the same way provided they are for the LT1.

Good luck, Hope I helped alittle.
