bad tft sensor

i checked my wireing and connections to the trans and it seems that my tft sensor is shot, i have no lockup when in OD my trans shifts early to 2nd and when i shift to 3rd it shifts late, sensor always reads -40

where is the tft sensor located in the trans? does the valve body have to come down? i know how to work on cars but i never dropped my trans pan before.

how do i go about changing this? is there any pics of it?

The tft is located in the pan on the tran pressure switch assembly. It is easy to change, just pull the pan and replace the trans pressure switch assembly, it is the switch which is held by 3- 10mm bolts and 2- 8mm bolts. I can email you a picture of the switch if you need.
